HC-1 Det 25, was escorting a Patrol Air Cushion Vehicle(PACV) and 63-12946 crashed when it lost lift after apparently encountering turbulence generated by the PACV's propeller and lift fan. PACV #2 can be seen in the background.
 Lifting the aircraft out of the water to return to base.
